2008 Events

Second Storie Market

This handmade holiday event was held on November 29th + 30th, 2008 at VSW. Our guests were treated to an afternoon performance by Baby Shiver's Boutique on Saturday. As part of our craftivism efforts, we collected sweaters to be made into mittens and passed on to those in need.

dearest love,

we delighted in your company on the first of february, 2008 at spot coffee in rochester, as we shopped for the finest handmade arts and listened to gregory paul and baby shiver's boutique.

we thank thee for the generous craftivism donations. the fabric was reborn as small blankets and toys for the many animals at lollypop farm and other area shelters. thank you for helping us warm their little cages by warming your craftivist hearts!

yours,
second storie    x o x o

Second Storie at the Market

We at Second Storie are huge fans of the South Wedge Farmers' Market, so we were absolutely thrilled to be invited to be the curators of their arts and crafts tent for the 2008 season! A different artist was featured each week.

The South Wedge Farmers' Market embodies the idea of gathering together a community around locally grown and cultivated food. As we continually strive for a similar community amongst artists + crafters, it was a natural fit.
